Barry Spencer grew up in Port Macquarie and returned to the area with his family after spending time in Sydney and the UK. Barry has a wealth of experience working in Australia and the UK, having worked in professional Cricket for 10 years, having established and managed Private Physiotherapy Practices and developed education and clinical care programs.
He has undertaken further training in a variety of areas, including Pain Management Programs, Dry Needling and Western Acupuncture, Kinesiology Taping, Athletic Screening and Development Programs and Headache treatment.
In his spare time, he coaches cricket and soccer and spends time with his family.
Sarah studied and worked in London before moving to Australia. She has extensive experience having worked in public health and private practice. Sarah has a clinical interest in dizziness, falls prevention and kinesiology taping.
Sarah has recently undergone extensive post-graduate training in Cancer Rehabilitation and offers this much needed service to people at any point along their cancer journey. Sarah runs Mat-work Core Classes at Lake Cathie Physio + Hydro and enjoys running group and individual hydrotherapy sessions in our new pool. Sarah played elite level netball and understands the unique demands of elite athletes.
Sarah enjoys painting in her spare time after running around after their three young children.
Abbey Winter is our new Graduate Physiotherapist. She grew up in Scone in the Hunter Valley, before moving to Orange to study Physiotherapy through Charles Sturt University. She is interested in post-surgical rehabilitation, pain management and hydrotherapy.
She is very excited to be a part of the team and learn all she can. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading and exploring her new home.
Jack grew up in Bonny Hills and has returned home after completing his Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Canberra, followed by a stint working in Private Practice and with the Canberra Raiders. During this time, he gained a wealth of skills and experience in both high-performance rehabilitation and acute patient care.
Jack is specialised in exercise-based solutions to treat acute, sub-acute and chronic medical conditions, injuries and disabilities. His goal is to provide holistic quality care to all his patients and provide them with the skills they need to regain independence and quality of life.
When he is not in the clinic, Jack enjoys early morning exercise sessions at the gym and silently competing with his neighbours for the greenest lawn. Please do not hesitate to help him out with your best tips on lawn and garden care.
